Iconics

This page is where we will provide the basic descriptions of all of our setting Iconics, much like Jozan, Krusk, and Lidda from 3.5 and Amiri, Kyra, and Valeros in Golarion. Each will have their own posts providing backstories, stats, and role-playing suggestions, links to which will be provided as they are uploaded.

Currently there are only a few Iconics, but more will be released in the future.

Dengina
A literal son of a whore, Dengina spent years as an enforcer for the gang of half-elves called the Brotherhood of the Severed Ear. He recently left the Brotherhood due to the overwhelming guilt he feels for killing a child during an assignment gone wrong. While his skill at arms is nowhere near that of a town guard, his willingness to fight underhanded and his teachings in anatomy more than make up for his lack of formal training.

Dolmar
Born in Chor Kolav far to the north, Dolmar was raised by the Church of Maidanaa, the Silver Healer. He briefly served as a medic in the dwarven armies before fleeing south when the front lines came to his medical tent. He has spent years trying to find peace, but adventure has a way of finding him. Though he'll gripe about it, he will heal any adventuring companions and smash any undead that he encounters.

Hanabek
A young halfling sorcerer, Hanabek was born to working class refugees that settled in Wainryn. Growing up, like many other halflings that were born after fleeing the expanding hobgoblin empire, he discovered that he had the gift of air magic. This caught the attention of a gang, the Brotherhood of the Severed Ear, who made him an offer: work for us or your father's cobbler shop will be burned to the ground. Ten years later, he fled the city after learning that he was delivering poisons that were being used in political assassinations.

Jadra
An elven woman from the port city of Wainryn, Jadra served in the city guard for nearly 30 years before she left the city in search of a new purpose in life after the death of the man that killed her grandfather. Forgoing the archery and graceful fluidity of most elven warriors, Jadra instead favors the elven curve blade and using overwhelming force to cut down any enemies that stand in her way.

Orkil
A storyteller and wandering minstrel, Orkil is a half-orc bard from the Hiz'rych Kopjad orc clan. Trained by the clan's historian, he left the clan to learn the multitude of stories that the world beyond the clan had to offer. In the last few years, he has traveled from Glastig in the north to Wainryn in the south learning songs, tales, and ballads the entire way.

Andel
A city guard for the dwarven port city of Meresk Delas, Andel is a gnome investigator. Almost entirely self-taught, he has a habit of angering those around him with his observations and deductions. However he himself does not care about the feelings of those too dimwitted to see the things that he finds obvious.

Korrin
A street-rat in Argoport, Korrin is one of the rare few born with the gift of psychic magic. His mentor is simultaneously his greatest asset and his most dangerous enemy, the coalition of all his dark thoughts and impulses. Perhaps even more valuable than his magic is his knowledge and connections throughout the city that he calls home.

Ragnoth Frost Serpent
Born in the Frost Serpent clan of orcs in Sylvanor to half-blood parents, Ragnoth spent most of his childhood training under his uncle. A half-orc barbarian, his general combat philosophy is to be the last one standing at the end of a fight, and his uncle said on more than one occasion that Ragnoth didn't know how to stay down. Though he pays lip service to the gods of the northern orc clans, what he truly holds sacred is free will and the right for one to choose their own destiny, instilling a fierce, burning hatred for any that would take choice from others.
